Process to set a Reorder Quantity and create a Replenish Order

Follow our step-by-step guide on how to create Reorder quantity and Replenish Orders.
Step 1 : Navigate to Reference Data > Click on the three dots on the top right corner > Go to “Settings” > Go to “Stock Triggers” > Click on “+ Add”
Step 2 : Enter the trigger Name > Select the Trigger Types
Step 3 : Select the following options as required
Create a replenish order automatically when the rule triggers : the system will generate a replenish order as soon as the reorder quantity is reached for the specific product.
Apply to all products : this option activates the trigger for every product in your inventory.
Note : the replenish quantity and reorder quantity for all products will remain same.
Step 4 : Navigate to “Products” > Click on “+Add” > Select the products from the dropdown. For eg. Ecopia 600 > Click on Add > Set the Replenish and Reorder quantity
Step 5 : Navigate to “Location” > Select the stock locations as per the following requirements
- All: If the reorder quantity is met for ALL stock locations where the product is present, the replenish order is triggered
- All of: Choose this option if you want to specify multiple stock locations and require that the reorder quantity be met at ALL of these selected locations. A dropdown menu will allow you to select the specific locations.
- Any: If the reorder quantity is met at ANY stock location where the product is present, this option will trigger a replenish order. It covers all locations automatically without the need for further selection.
- Any of: This option lets you select specific stock locations from a dropdown menu. The replenish order is triggered if the reorder quantity is met at any of the selected locations.
Step 6 : Navigate to Users > Select the company roles and specific users that should receive the notification.
Step 7 : Navigate to Bins > Select the bin statuses and the bins you want to exclude from the reorder rule > Click on “Create”
You have successfully created a trigger for a reorder quantity to create a replenish order. Whenever Ecopia EP600 quantity will go down to 5 or below, the user will receive an alert and email notification.
Step 8 : If you have enabled “Create a replenish order automatically when the rule triggers”, the system will automatically create a replenish order. You can view the same on “Orders”
If you have not enabled “Create a replenish order automatically when the rule triggers”, Go to Alert > Click on “Create order”
