What is an Outbound Order? How to create an Outbound Order?
Outbound orders refer to the orders processed and shipped out from your inventory to fulfill customer demands.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to create an Inbound order.
Step 1 : Navigate to “Orders” > Click on the three dots in the top right corner and select "New" to create a new order.
Step 2 : Go to the Order Type dropdown, select "Outbound” > From the “Source Stock Location” dropdown, select the stock location from where the products are required to be shipped out > From the dropdown menu, select the "Customer" to whom the products will be shipped > Select the customer’s Location from the dropdown > Next
Step 3 : Choose the products you wish to ship to the customer from the dropdown menu > Mention the quantity of the products that the customer needs > Click on “Next”
Step 4 : Select the employee/user who should be responsible for this order operations > Click on “Finish”
Step 5 : Your outbound order has been successfully created! You can track its status on the Orders dashboard. Simply click on the order to view all the details.
