Scanning Barcode in the case of Anomaly Situations

Occasionally, when scanning barcodes on the mobile application for a user-assigned task, anomaly cases may occur. Anomaly cases refer to scenarios where the system or database recognizes the barcode but cannot map it to the correct reference data.


Follow the steps below when encountering an anomaly case:


Step 1: Follow the step-by-step procedure as recommended in our Scanning Barcode on Mobile application guide : Scanning Barcode on Mobile Application


Step 2: You'll recognize it as an anomaly case when a barcode turns yellow wile scanning.


Step 3: Select the yellow barcode > a pop-up window displaying reference data properties will appear > edit/correct the properties as needed. If the properties are already correctly mapped, proceed by clicking on "Confirm.”


Step 4 : A confirmation pop-up window will appear on the screen once all the barcodes are successfully mapped to the database.
