Complete Blind count task on mobile application through scanning

Any blind Count task that is created can be completed through scanning on the mobile application of the user to whom the task is assigned.


Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to complete a Blind Count task through scanning.


Step 1 : Login into the Ventory’s mobile application > Once logged in, you can find the blind Count task on the “Home” > Click on the Task.


Or, navigate to the “Tasks” icon on the bottom > Select the “blind Count” task assigned to you > Click on the Task.


Note : Make sure you are on the right Stock location to locate the blind count task.


Step 2 : You will land on the task detail screen with all the information of the blind count > Click on “Start”


Step 3 : Click on the scan icon on the Bin list > Scan the barcode of the bin. This will automatically land you in the right bin where the products are required to be counted > Click on the scan icon on the Product list.


Step 4 : Start scanning the barcodes on the products, the application will recognise the barcode and direct you to the product to be counted > Use the “+” if the admin has enabled to validate the quantity on non-serialized products > Click on “Confirm” > click on “Finish” to move out of scan window.


Step 5 : Repeat Step 4 for the rest of the products inside the current Bin > Click on “Finish” when done > Repeat the process for the rest of the bins > Click on “Complete”
