Working with Custom Translations
Custom Translations allow administrators to personalize field names on the Ventory platform according to their preferences. For instance, 'Reference Data' can be renamed to 'Inventory.' This feature enhances workflow efficiency and creates a more intuitive, user-friendly experience.
Here’s a step by step guide to customize a field on the platform :
Step 1 : Navigate to Settings > Company > Advanced settings > Custom Translations
Step 2 : Enter a Name for the Translation Document > Click on “Create”
Step 3 : For example : if you want to change the name of “Reference Data” to “Inventory”, search for “Reference Data” > Click on the same
Step 4 : Modify field names > Click on “Save”
Note : The platform enables Administrators to customize field names for both singular and plural instances across the platform. Wether the field name occurs as a plural or singular can be identified easily as the system disables the sections where plural are not present.
Step 5 : The Reference Data now says “Inventory”
